Debra Sadranu, Business Director, DBT (member) AABTh CIDESCO Section Australia, moved from Australia and established Senikai Spas in 1998.
By identifying the lack of training in a highly sought after industry, Debra opened the very first training institution, the South Pacific Academy of Beauty Therapy. The academy allows local and international students the opportunity to train in a highly accredited school that offers graduates employment within its own chain of Spas throughout Fiji’s hotel and resorts. Today, Senikai Spas Fiji has 13 locations throughout Fiji, including the mainland, the Mamanuca Islands, cruise ships and the airport.
The Senikai collection has expanded to an award winning local company, with its own naturally based skin & body care range, Essence of Fiji. Made from locally sourced extracts the Fijian women have used since ancient times, Essence of Viti reflects the uniqueness of the islands approach to beauty.
